The Event Alerts

When a product's Reorder_Flag transitions from "OK" to "REORDER," an event-triggered automation emails the responsible buyer. The alert fires once per transition — it will not spam your inbox if the quantity stays low for days. When new stock arrives and the quantity rises above the reorder point, the trigger re-arms.

The Scheduled Digest

A daily automation queries all products where Reorder_Flag = "REORDER" and sends a summary email. The digest includes product name, SKU, current quantity, reorder point, reorder quantity, and preferred supplier. Your purchasing team gets a ready-made reorder list every morning.
