How It Works

Formula Flags

The tracker uses Baserow formula fields to compute project health automatically:

• At_Risk Flag: Compares Percent_Complete against elapsed timeline. If a task is less than 40% complete but more than 60% of its duration has passed, it flags immediately.
• Overdue Flag: Checks Due_Date against today's date. Past due with status not set to Complete? Flagged.
• Unassigned Alert: Any task without an owner gets surfaced — no orphaned work items hiding in the backlog.

Event-Triggered Alerts

When the At_Risk flag changes from false to true, an automation fires an email to the task owner with the project name, task name, due date, and current completion percentage. The alert fires once. If the owner updates progress and the flag clears, the system re-arms and will fire again only if the task falls behind a second time.

Scheduled Digest

Every morning at 7:00 AM, a scheduled automation queries all tasks where At_Risk = true or Overdue = true, groups them by project, and sends a formatted digest to the project lead. One email, every problem, no dashboard required.
